Description

Toadhouse Games is an indie visual novel game studio. We develop games with mental health and authenticity in mind. We believe it is important for everyone to learn how to self-soothe and build mental resilience, be kind to themselves and others, and give back to their community. Our games showcase these beliefs.

History

Upon joining the game industry on the team of the viral sensation Bendy and the Ink Machine, Alanna Linayre transitioned her stream channel’s focus from playing games to game development. She shared her journey with her community in an effort to encourage others to also try new skills. She continues to try to be a role model of healthy boundaries, self care, and kindness on the internet.

In 2019, Toadhouse Games began to focus on exclusively making visual novels. The studio’s future games will continue to destigmatize mental illness and include themes associated with living authentically, affectionately described as “crunchy wholesome.”
