As a small studio, we hire a variety of part time contractors to help move things along when the work gets overwhelming. We are always accepting applications. No previous game industry experience is necessary.

Note: We do not hire full time employees. This is for part time independent contractor work, where we will work together to create deadlines that make sense for your life, other obligations, and our projects.
Strong communication skills are imperative.

Art

Currently, we’re creating a short list of artists to help us with the following tasks:

  • Draw emotive characters in a unique style, in different poses

  • Create polished backgrounds with loving details in a unique style

  • Design unique menu, dialogue boxes, and UI buttons

We currently pay the following rates:

  • Background Art: $150 USD per background, with slight variations included (example: day & night versions)

  • Sprite Art: $175 USD per character with 4 dynamic poses included

  • Sprite Art emotive variations (same pose, different face expression): $20 USD per emotion

No previous game industry experience is necessary.

Narrative

Currently, we’re creating a short list of narrative writers to help us with the following tasks:

  • Take a provided general story outline and create a well fleshed out roadmap with 2-3 narrative branches.

  • Write out the story beats and play-by-play of what the characters are doing, saying, and feeling in the moment, in a short story. No dialogue writing required but dialogue suggestions are more than welcome.

The submitted work must be fleshed out and detailed enough that it can easily be turned into dialogue and character actions in the game.

No previous game industry experience is necessary.
